Calling all Artists
A real opportunity for artists, to promote their work by taking part in prestigious exhibitions throughout the UK and, in the near future, Germany and Canada.
At Art-Rooms, we promote established artists who seek greater exposure as well as continually looking for talented, up-and-coming artists. Each venue is carefully selected for maximum visitor attendance, to include art lovers as well as a general public who may find the atmosphere of an art gallery intimidating.
To participate, interested artists are required to:
- Fill in the Art-Rooms entry form online.
- Email photographs of artwork taken at the highest possible resolution (maximum of three).
- Pay a non-refundable entry fee of £10.00 (GBP), via PayPal, for each work submitted.
The entry fee will be forwarded to our named charity. - Tell us about themselves and their art.
Entry acceptance will be decided by Art-Rooms and/or a a panel of professional artists. Decisions made will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Art-Rooms will:
- Ensure that your artwork has reached us well ahead of the exhibition date.
- Provide secure storage between exhibitions should artwork not have sold.
- Provide secure transport for artwork in our care to the intended exhibition site.
- Provide framing* for exhibiting purposes, when required, at no extra cost.
- Return unsold works of art, as initially received, after three exhibitions.
- Pay the amount owed from the sale of artwork within two weeks after close of exhibition.
* At Art-Rooms, we aim to enhance the pleasure of viewing a picture by adding a carefully selected frame and mount and glass, when appropriate, that will capture the attention of viewers and adorn the homes of art lovers. Therefore, we will provide picture frames at no extra cost to the artist.
NOTE: The mounting board and glass required for watercolours, pastels, prints and photographs will be invoiced to the artist.
