CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS & SCULPTURE FAIR AT THE MENIER GALLERY, LONDON
An exciting three week long Contemporary Painting & Sculpture Fair at the Menier Gallery, 51 Southwark Street, Southwark, London SE1 1RU, will open on Monday, 14 November. Exhibiting under a different theme each week, the event is organised in support of three charities; Breast Cancer Research, the Cancer Research Society and the Alzheimer's Society.
All art lovers are welcome. As a visitor to the Fair, whether you are looking to start a collection or simply find and eye catching piece for your home or office, you will have the opportunity to view original works in a leisurely atmosphere and purchase stunning pieces from a selection of talented British, French and German contemporary artists. A Certificate of Authenticity is provided with each work of art purchased. Larger items may also be delivered at a reasonable cost within mainland UK.
1st week: 14 - 19 November - FIVE OF THE BEST FRENCH AND SCOTTISH
Five well established artists displaying eye catching work. (in support of Breast Cancer Research)
- Albert Carrier Roca (France) - painter, sculptor and professor listed in the "Dictionnaire de Cotation des Artistes" (Larousse) and the reference book, "L'Annuaire des artistes, Drouot Cotation".
- Pierre Mouzat (France) - sculptor exhibiting on many occasions in Paris and referenced in several publications. His work consisting mainly of bronze sculpture depicting the human condition. Life size commissions also created for public buildings and corporations.
- Philippe Jamin (France) - painter and sculptor who considers himself an eclectic and refuses to be limited by a well-defined style. Having gone through different artistic periods, he now works in cosmic abstraction where the four elements, air, fire, water and earth constitute his pictorial approach.
- François Renoso (France) - A Spanish painter, sculptor and special needs teacher who is passionate about optical science and expresses his passion with a highly coloured choreography of lyrical and liberal abstractions.
- Rosemary Clunie (Scotland) - painter, printmaker and video artist who has exhibited at various prestigious galleries in London and at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
2nd week: 21 - 26 November - EROTICA
(in support of the Cancer Research Society)
An imaginative display of pictures and sculptures from British and French artists looking at the world with feeling and emotion.
3rd week: 28 November - 3 December - ECLECTIC CONTEMPORARY ART
(in support of the Alzheimer's Society)
An exciting array of styles, techniques and creativity from talented up-and-coming and established British, French and German artists. Over 200 pieces on show at prices ranging from £150 to £8,000 pounds. Delivery can be arranged to mainland UK addresses.
